Woud like a few different types. Some recommended brands include Moby, Hotslings, Maya, Ergo, and Baby Bjorn. They are availabe form many stores including Amazon.com and Target.

Where applicable sure to get a size that will either Ruby or Brian (usually a large). Many styes can be researched or bought at attachedtobaby.com.

Would like a nice one for home and a smaller one for travelling. Video is probably not neccesary, but, um neat-o.

Storage for dirty cloth diapers between the changing table and the washing machine. The Diaper Champ ($99) has been specifically recommended.

Already have a pillow, but would like an extra cover or two for those inevitable messy days.

To keep the baby in one room for safety. Prefer an pressure-mounted option so it can be easily moved between rooms. Here is an example:

We've got a dresser that will function as the changing table, just need the curved cushion that goes on top.

We will both be will be exhausted and cleaning isn't our strength, so it would be great to have help or pay someone to come every week or two for the first few months. We like Green Enviro Maids, and they offer special gift certificates for new parents.

If you cant decide, we'd be happy for gift certificates to places with lot of baby stuff. Local stores are best such as The Red Hen and the boutique at our birthing center (these are also great places to find gifts).  if you're not in town, Amazon and Target are always handy as well, and we may be looking at baby furniture at Ikea.

0-6 mo size in spring/summer styles, or 6-12 mo in fall/winter styles. Great local sources include Glee Kids. Good online stores include: handmade crafts at Etsy.
